Description:  
Freestanding huardrail is one of the simplest forms of rooftop fall protection. Unlike horizontal lifelines or single point anchors, which require worker tie-off, a rooftop guardrail system requires very little of its user.  The people don't need to wear a harness, connect to an anchor point, or receive training in the safe use of the system.  That said, you'll need to do some planning prior to installing freestanding rooftop safety railing systems to ensure worker safety and OSHA compliance.  This post serves as a guide to determining baseplate and railing section requirements when installing the freestanding guardrail.

Materials:

Counterweight:
The 25kg counterweight is designed to be attached to each of the main uprights,  the shell is made of high quality PVC material and filled with concrete which provides the necessary counterbalance weight to prevent the system from being moved.

Installation Steps:

1. Position the counterweight onto the base module then fix it by tapping screws and shims.
2. Insert upright module into the base then fix it by set screws.
3. Get handrail and keenrail onto tube junctions then fix them by set screws.

Test Procedure:
Our freestanding guardrail would be tested according to the requirement of  EN 13374 and EN 14122-3 before the shipment.
