Description

The uneven surfaces of corrugated metal rooftops can pose a significant slip and trip hazard in addition to standard rooftop fall hazards. Having the right fall protection system to ensure the safety of people accessing the roof is critical.



Materail

LONGDYES freestanding guardrail is manufactured from the aluminum 6063 or 6061.
The materials have excellent processing performance, excellent welding characteristics and electroplating, good corrosion resistance, high toughness and no deformation after processing, the material is dense and defect-free and easy to polish, easy to paint film, excellent oxidation effect, etc.

Installation

1. Put base module onto connect plate and fasten these two separate parts by self tapping screw and rivet.
2. Put end of tube from base module onto another connect plate and fasten it by self tapping screw and rivet.
3. After base module was fastened onto connect plate, put concrete-filled counterweight over end of tube and fasten by self tapping screw.
NOTE: The connect plate should be glued on metal roof by BUTYL TYPE.

Toeboard (Optional item)
 
On rooftops or surfaces where there is no parapet at the fall edge (or a parapet of less than 100 mm high) a toeboard can be affixed to the base of the guardrail.
