Description: Corrugated metal roof aluminum freestanding guardrail is one style of fall-protection railing system, which is designed to be used at or around leading edge fall hazard areas to prevent workers from being exposed to the fall hazard itself. This guardrail system is manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminium and is secured with 25kg counter-weights, making it quick and easy to install. It means there is no need to penetrate the railing into the corrugated metal roof, and never has issues with weatherproofing, so this guardrail system makes it one of the most cost effective permanent solutions when installing a fall protection system.
Materials:
The LONGDYES freestanding guardrail is manufactured from the aluminum 6063 or 6061.
The materials have excellent processing performance, excellent welding characteristics and electroplating, good corrosion resistance, high toughness and no deformation after processing, the material is dense and defect-free and easy to polish, easy to paint film, excellent oxidation effect, etc.

Counterweight:
The 25kg counterweight is designed to be attached to each of the main uprights, the shell is made of high quality PE material and filled with concrete which provides the necessary counterbalance weight to prevent the system from being moved.

Components:
The following components will be provided when the freestanding assembly is delivered:
Installation Steps:
- Put base module onto connect plate and fasten these two separate parts by self tapping screw and rivet.
- Put end of tube from base module onto another connect plate and fasten it by self tapping screw and rivet.
- After base module was fastened onto connect plate, put concrete-filled counterweight over end of tube and fasten by self tapping screw.
NOTE: The connect plate should be glued on metal roof by BUTYL TAPE.
Test Procedure
Our freestanding guardrail would be tested according to the requirement of EN 13374, Class A and EN-ISO 14122-3 before the shipment.
