Description:
Longdyes Aluminum fixed guardrail is one style of the freestanding guardrail system which designed to provide the permanent full-perimeter fall protection for the corrugated Metal Roofs and standing seam metal roofs. This guardrail system is manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminium for lightweight and 100% waterproof installation, and the modular design makes it easily and safely installing.

Materials:
The LONGDYES fixed guardrail is manufactured from the aluminum 6063 or 6061.
The materials have excellent processing performance, excellent welding characteristics and electroplating, good corrosion resistance, high toughness and no deformation after processing, the material is dense and defect-free and easy to polish, easy to paint film, excellent oxidation effect, etc.

Specification:

EN ISO14122-3: 2016 requirements:
7.1.3  The minimum height of the guard-rail shall be 1 100 mm. The height of the handrail shall be ≤1 100 mm. The handrail shall be parallel to the walking line.
7.1.4  The guard-rail shall include at least one intermediate knee rail or any other equivalent protection. The clear space between the handrail and the knee rail, as well as between the knee rail and the toe-plate, shall not exceed 500 mm. 
7.1.5  When vertical uprights are used instead of a knee rail, the clear horizontal distance between those uprights shall be 180 mm maximum. 
7.1.6  A toe-plate with a minimum upstand of 100 mm shall be placed 12 mm maximum from the walking level and the edge of the platform,  as well as stair landings. If there is a gap between the toe-plates of adjacent guard rail segments, this gap shall be not more than 20 mm.
7.1.7  The distance between the axes of the stanchions is preferred to be limited to 1 500 mm.If this distance is exceeded, specific attention shall be paid to the stanchion anchoring strength and the fixing devices.

Components' Features

Installation Steps:

1. Bolt up base module and arched plate with rivets on both ends.
2. Tape the bolting area of arched plate by insulation to avoid water penetration.
3. After base module was fastened onto arched plate, bolt up the plate to corrugated roof.

NOTE: The connect plate should be glued on metal roof by BUTYL TAPE.



Test Procedure
Our guardrail system would be tested according to the requirement of  EN 13374, Class A and EN-ISO 14122-3 before the shipment.
